Dear Friends
Hope you are enjoying the last weeks of summer. This morning when I woke up it was dark! The nights are drawing in! We must soak up the last of this glorious weather in England (and if you are not here I hope the weather is treating you well)
First a few quick announcements :
Show This Sunday - We are SO excited to be performing at Local and Live on the main stage at Calverly Park at 1pm 25th August. This event is FREE to attend, come and support :-)
Private Songwriting Classes - It is now possible to book a 1-on-1 Songwriting class with me. I created this opportunity to support the 200 students who have taken my “Deep Songwriting” class on Skillshare. September Womens Retreat - You’ve got 10 days left to get the early bird price for my next women’s retreat on Sunday 29th September. One of the women on my last retreat exclaimed “I feel like I’ve been on a two week holiday” If you’d like to recharge and rejuvenate in community book a place here.
* Wandering and Wondering*
I was wandering around my village, and sat at the pond at the top of the hill to quiet my busy mind. I noticed a big bramble bush next to me, and I thought “I wonder if I can make a basket out of you?” Turns out you can and I went into a rabbit hole of making baskets! I thought it selfish to keep this skill to myself, so I have just launched a new class on Skillshare Introduction to Basket Weaving - Weave a Rustic Basket. I experimented with different materials and also made a miniature basket out of mugwort stems.
