Dear Friends
A quick email to announce our show on 25th August at 1pm at Local and Live Festival in Tunbridge Wells. Please come and support :-) FREE Entry!
And other nice things..
I went to see the Huni Kuin and friends perform at a Secret Venue in my home town. It was delightful! The Huni Kuin travel all the way from the Amazon Rainforest to spread their message of “So Alegria”, which translates to mean “Only Joy”. The concert was indeed joyful! My son was still awake at 9pm squealing with delight “I’m up past my bed time, it’s dark”.
I got a lovely review on one of my Skillshare classes. I now have 11 classes on there! If you are interested in learning singing, sewing, songwriting and more from me, visit my Skillshare. This review comes from my DIY Album class…
“Anyway! Laura, my dear sister, your wondrous words and encouragement helped me to see that there’s time to do all the stuff, and buckling down to finish this one thing would free me up to enjoy the next creative task. I just had to be a bit organised about it.” Sally B
It’s such a good reminder. Just finish something!!! When you finish things you learn things. Seeing a project all the way through to completion is tough but rewarding work.
Coming soon…..I’m working on a series of new Skillshare classes all about Wild Crafting. In it you will be able to learn how to make this sweet rustic basket.
That’s all for now
LOVE ALWAYS WINS

Love the basket!
Yes to finishing things... however long they may take! That dopamine burst that comes with completion is so worth it. And I would add, make lists so all the brilliant ideas get stored somewhere.
