Dear Kind Reader,
Today it’s been 60 days since I de-activated social media. I’m sure it’s doing good things for my brain & for my general state of mind. One of my friends pointed out to me that it might cost me opportunities not being on there. I would argue, as a self employed artist & teacher, that it most definitely will cost me, but it is a price I pay for my sanity. I care about tending to the creative fire, because it has saved me so many times. It has saved me from sadness, stress, restlessness, irritability & discontent. That is why I live a creative life & teach creative classes.
My most recent creative outburst is a zine filled with songs, poems & essays. All on the theme of recovering from social media addiction, slowing down, enjoying summer & finding peace. You have one week left to order, I’m printing a limited edition.
